Terms of Service

These Terms govern your access to and use of Verifact, a claim and evidence review product operated by PennyFloat. Verifact is built around a simple standard: The red. The blue. The truth.

Acceptable Use

You may use Verifact only for lawful, honest, and respectful participation in claim review. You are responsible for claims, evidence, images, reports, votes, comments, profile information, and other content you submit.

User-Generated Content

You retain ownership of your content, subject to rights held by others. By submitting content, you grant PennyFloat a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, analyze, moderate, format, and distribute that content as needed to operate and protect Verifact.

No Guarantee of Accuracy

Verifact provides tools for reviewing claims and evidence, but it does not guarantee factual accuracy, completeness, neutrality, timeliness, or final truth. Content may be disputed, incomplete, outdated, misleading, or incorrect. Always verify important information independently.

AI-Assisted Analysis

AI-assisted analysis may help classify, summarize, or evaluate claims and evidence. AI outputs can be wrong, incomplete, biased, or misapplied, and they are not legal, medical, financial, election, safety, or other professional advice.

Prohibited Behavior

• Harassment, threats, bullying, doxxing, exploitation, or abuse.
• Hate speech, explicit content, illegal content, or promotion of violence or self-harm.
• Spam, scams, malicious links, coordinated manipulation, fake engagement, or deceptive behavior.
• Impersonation of people, organizations, public officials, platforms, moderators, or PennyFloat staff.
• Uploading content that violates privacy, confidentiality, or intellectual property rights.
• Scraping, bulk downloading, reverse engineering, credential stuffing, API abuse, rate-limit evasion, or attempts to interfere with service operations.

Moderation and Account Actions

PennyFloat may review, label, limit, hide, remove, preserve, or escalate content, and may suspend or terminate accounts, when needed to enforce these Terms, protect users, comply with law, investigate abuse, or maintain service integrity.

Intellectual Property

Verifact, PennyFloat, product names, logos, software, interfaces, workflows, analysis systems, and original content are owned by PennyFloat or its licensors. These Terms do not grant ownership of Verifact or PennyFloat intellectual property.

Liability Limitation

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PennyFloat is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, lost profits, lost data, service interruption, reputational harm, or reliance on user-generated or AI-assisted content.
