Information We Collect

How We Use Information

AI-Assisted Analysis

Verifact may use AI-assisted systems to classify, summarize, and evaluate claims, source URLs, uploaded evidence, and related context. AI outputs are preliminary and may be wrong, incomplete, outdated, or biased. They do not guarantee that a claim is true or false.

Third-Party Services

Verifact may use Supabase for authentication, database, and storage services; Render for backend hosting; image storage for uploaded files; Expo, Apple, and Google for app delivery; and analytics, logging, email, security, and moderation tools as needed to operate the service.

Public Content and Retention

Claims, evidence, votes, reports, public profile details, and reputation signals may be visible to other users depending on the feature and moderation state. We retain information as needed to operate Verifact, comply with law, resolve disputes, enforce rules, prevent abuse, and maintain security.

Account Deletion

You may request account deletion from the app or by contacting support@pennyfloat.com from the email address associated with your account. Some records may be retained or anonymized when needed for safety, legal compliance, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or verification history.
