Community Guidelines
Effective June 10, 2026
These Community Guidelines keep Verifact focused on useful claim and evidence review. They apply to claims, evidence, images, reports, votes, usernames, profiles, and any other user-submitted content.
Respectful Discussion
Discuss claims, evidence, and reasoning without attacking people. Strong disagreement is allowed; harassment, threats, intimidation, and targeted abuse are not.
Not Allowed
- Harassment, threats, bullying, doxxing, exploitation, or coordinated abuse.
- Explicit sexual content, exploitative content, illegal content, graphic violence for shock value, or content that promotes self-harm or violence.
- Hate speech or attacks based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, age, caste, or veteran status.
- Spam, scams, malware, malicious links, repetitive content, fake engagement, or coordinated manipulation.
- Impersonation of another person, organization, public official, platform, moderator, or PennyFloat representative.
Evidence Quality Expectations
Submit evidence that is relevant to the claim, clearly sourced when possible, and not intentionally misleading. Avoid cropped, edited, or out-of-context media unless you clearly explain the edit or context.
Moderation Actions
Content may be removed for policy violations. Verifact may also reduce visibility, add labels, limit features, preserve records, suspend accounts, or report serious issues when content violates these Guidelines, Terms, platform rules, or applicable law.
